One of the most distinctive features of Hanseswari Temple is its unusual architectural style. The temple stands about 21 meters high and consists of 13 lotus-shaped towers (Ratnas). The structure reflects Tantric philosophy, symbolizing the human body’s energy pathways such as Ira, Pingala, Sushumna, Bajraksha, and Chitrini. The inner layout represents the spiritual concept of Kundalini and chakra alignment.

After the temple visit, honestly, there’s nothing to do here. Either come to Imambara, visit Bandel Church, or come to Serampore Chandannagar.. the last 2 are a little distance away, if you have a day in hand it’s not much at all.
