The Rath Yatra, or Chariot Festival, is one of India’s grandest Hindu celebrations, held annually on the 2nd day of Shukla Paksha in Asadh (June–July). The festival centers around the Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, one of the sacred Char Dham shrines.The Yatra marks Lord Jagannath’s annual journey with his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra from the main temple to the Gundicha Temple, their aunt’s home. On the way, they stop at the Mausima Temple for Jagannath’s favorite sweet pancakes.

Each year, three new wooden chariots, built by hereditary craftsmen following ancient traditions, are beautifully decorated for the deities. On the Yatra day, millions of devotees from across the world pull these massive 45-foot-high chariots — an act believed to bring divine blessings.This is the only day when non-Hindus can have darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings. Today, the Puri Rath Yatra has become a global spiritual event, with participation from devotees worldwide, promoted internationally by ISKCON.

Puri – Konark – Chilika – Bhubaneswar Tour (4 Days / 3 Nights)

Day 1: Arrival – Puri & Konark
Arrive at Bhubaneswar or Puri and transfer to hotel/resort. After lunch, visit Konark Sun Temple, ASI Museum, and Chandrabhaga Beach. Dinner and overnight stay at Puri.

Day 2: Rath Yatra Darshan
Early morning proceed to Puri Jagannath Temple to witness the world-famous Rath Yatra. Breakfast, packed lunch, and water provided. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Puri – Chilika – Puri
