At Kapil Ashram in the quiet Kapilban forest near Kapil Kund, Shri Mahaprabhuji spent six months completing the third canto of Subodhani, accompanied by only five disciples. In this secluded place, Krishnadas once prepared a simple maize dish for him, and Mahaprabhuji, pleased with his devotion, blessed him with a boon.

Each morning after bathing in the ocean, Mahaprabhuji reflected on Lord Krishna’s command to uplift souls by removing their ignorance through divine connection. One day, while sitting on a small hill with his disciples, a divine fragrance emerged from his lotus feet. Snakes and other beings who came near were purified, left their bodies, and were reborn as humans, becoming eligible for the Lord’s service—an event that left the disciples amazed.

The Gangasagar tour starts early from Kakdwip Lot 8 Jetty with a private ferry ride across the Muriganga River to Gangasagar Island.
